1

Lack of Control Box
in
Door Design
The sliding panel lacks stability and can shift out of place when the door is opened without a control mechanism.

2

Lack of Hook to Support &
Secure Both Panels in Place
A slight push can create a gap in the closed door, compromising bathroom privacy.

3

No Half Track
Without proper securing, the panel tends to sag over time when in the closed position.

1

Ensuring the Durability of
Our Slide & Swing 3.0 Door
We are the first and only company to conduct durability testing for the control box mechanism, proving that the roller and control cache remains intact after 150,000 cycles of swing and slide movement — verified by a recognised leader in product performance testing.

2

Joint Profile,
an Essential Part of Slide & Swing Door
The joint profile is a critical element that holds the slide and swing door system together. It must support the weight of two panels without sagging, keep the panels aligned closely enough to eliminate visible gaps, yet far enough apart to prevent scratching.

We have enhanced our craftsmanship and upgraded the material quality to deliver a joint profile that ensures smooth sliding operation while protecting the panels during use.

3

Improved Hinge for a Cohesive,
Long-Lasting Door Aesthetic
Crafted from aluminium and finished with the same pyrocoating technique as the frame, these upgraded hinges achieve a perfect colour and material match with the slide and swing door.

Using the same material ensures uniform hardness throughout the door, enhancing durability and reducing scratches compared to stainless steel hinges on an aluminium frame.

4

Most Durable Lock Design
Our patented G lock has stood the test of time, with over 20 years of reliable use and no complaints. Its larger size makes it especially user-friendly for the elderly, offering ease of grip and operation.

1

A Worthy Investment into R&D
Our high-quality control box has stood the test of time, proven through rigorous durability testing and daily use by customers who have chosen our Slide & Swing 3.0 doors.

Because of its reliability, we have retained the trusted control box design while focusing our innovation efforts on enhancing other key aspects of the Slide & Swing door system.

2

Functional is NOT ENOUGH
Creating a functional door is no longer sufficient when we all strive for a more aesthetically pleasing interior design.

Our craftsmen have pushed the boundaries by refining the joint profile to offer not only the original 40mm size, but also slimmer options at 22mm and 5mm. Each profile is carefully engineered to support your door design needs — from bearing the weight of panel infills to ensuring a sleek, modern look that pairs perfectly with innovative door designs.

3

Reinventing the Door Hinges with Our VG Hinge
Visible gaps and slamming doors — traditional hinges are neither aesthetically pleasing nor safe for families with young children.

The VG hinge reinvents this with a concealed design that delivers a seamless, sleek appearance with no visible gaps. Its finger-safe function and 90-degree stop help prevent the door from slamming into walls, while the centralised pivot point that reduces noise and ensures balanced, long-term support. Together, these features enhance durability and extend the door’s lifespan.

4

Discreet Look
The new 'N' Lock sits discreetly behind the frame, hiding the mechanism to create a seamless and elegant aesthetic.

5

Constant Upgrades
First introduced in 2018, the VG Slide & Swing Door quickly became a customer favourite.

Thanks to its overwhelming popularity, we have continuously refined and enhanced the design to ensure it stays compatible with the latest materials and techniques.

Today, all Pd door 4.0 variants are fully compatible with our newest 10mm thick material.

6

New Balanced Frame
Our PD Door 4.0 Slide & Swing Doors now feature a balanced design, with both sides of the frame equal in width for a cleaner look.

7

Well Rounded Door Design
Things naturally wear and tear over time.

For homeowners carrying out repairs or home renovations, replacing your door frame is often a wiser investment. A new frame not only opens up more choices for door systems but also better guarantees the longevity of your door, as it is purpose-built to support the door and system you select.

However, during the dismantling of an old door frame, the underlying walls that supported it are often exposed. This usually means additional work is required to patch and finish these walls after installation.

With this in mind, we have designed different frame add-ons — two of which help reduce the need for extra wall patching:
YL, a thick frame that covers the entire width of the wall.
Li, a slimmer aluminium extension that extends from the back of the door to cover the full wall width, giving you a modern, minimalist look.

1

A Lasting Success
Our control cache is a true testament to the expertise of our R&D team.

When it was first launched 12 years ago, it set a new standard in performance and reliability. Designed with precision engineering and a deep understanding of long-term user needs, this innovative mechanism has consistently delivered exceptional functionality.

Its continued use today speaks volumes — not just about its durability, but also about our confidence in its design.

Year after year, it has proven itself in countless installations, maintaining smooth operation and structural integrity without compromise.

While technology evolves, our control cache remains a trusted component, embodying our commitment to creating solutions that stand the test of time.

2

Reframing Elegance
Beyond creating a slimmer joint profile, we asked ourselves — what else could we refine for a truly elegant, minimalist finish?

Our R&D team explored ideas far and wide, seeking inspiration to push the boundaries of design.

The result: a thinner inner frame that not only secures the panels firmly in place, but also perfectly complements the sleekness of the aluminium joint profile — achieving a harmonious, modern aesthetic.

3

The Final Piece to a Slim Design
With the creation of a slimmer inner frame and a refined joint profile, we achieved our vision of a slim design for our Slide & Swing doors. Yet, one challenge remained.

Pairing the system with a standard VG hinge made the door frame appear bulkier, pushing us to rely on our regular aluminium matching colour hinge in order to preserve the sleek look.

While that solution worked, we knew we could do better. Our team explored new possibilities — reimagining how to incorporate the benefits of the VG hinge into a hinge that blends seamlessly with our slim frame design.

The result: our innovative Slim Frame Q Hinge, a perfect fusion of functionality and elegance, designed to complement the streamlined aesthetics of our Slide & Swing doors.

4

Refining the Integral Part
Slide & Swing doors are most commonly used in toilets and kitchens in today’s market.

Whether you want privacy for personal moments or need to keep little ones safely out of the kitchen while cooking, a reliable lock is essential for these doors.

With the introduction of our slim inner frame, traditional solutions like the G lock or the sliding door handle from our VG8 Slide & Swing series no longer fit. This challenge inspired us to reimagine and develop a new lock — one that not only complements the slim frame but is also user-friendly and secure.

5

Adding the Final Touch
Our SQ620 Sliding Door has come a long way, with every refinement bringing it closer to the perfect balance of form and function.

But we knew we could go even further — to reduce reliance on a rubber gasket and give the door an even more premium, seamless feel.

That’s where the R10 panel comes in. Specially developed by our team, the R10 panel is engineered to be thick enough to be securely held within the frame, while remaining lightweight to ensure the door’s durability and smooth operation. This innovation not only enhances the door’s structural integrity, but also completes the clean, refined aesthetic of the SQ620 Sliding Door.
